Oregon Statewide planning goals: what it allows on a lot

Statewide planning goals (ORS 215) is Oregon law, and the official source is at oregon.gov.

Land outside an urban growth boundary is under the state's farm and forest zoning (EFU, F-1, F-2); a new house there needs a county review under ORS 215.

Whether it applies to one lot turns on where the lot is and what it is zoned; the city, county or state office named in the law decides. Mapped areas are approximate. This is a plain reading of public law with its source, not legal advice.

Other Oregon laws on a lot: Accessory dwellings (ORS 197.312), Middle housing (ORS 197A.420).
